This is an Android app I am working on in my spare time. It’s not finished. The idea is that it writes to an NFC tag hidden inside the folded, unviewable area of a greeting card. The receiver of the card reads the secret message by hovering their phone over the poem inside the card. Then the message appears on their phone and they read this covertly. The secret message could be a love letter, or instructions for a spy mission… or something else secretive.
o I first built this in 2012, and got it working so it would write the NFC tag with the secret message. However, I started working for a client and was very busy with many months of overtime. So I never finished it. :-( I've thought about publishing it, but it was very plain to look at. Therefore, so far, I have not made it public. .
o Then, I came back to it in 2015, and worked on a better looking interface. However, I got busy again with hired work and so far have not finished it enough to publish it..
o FINISHING: In the near future, I hope to finish it. I need to incorporate the code from the original app into the new interface, and add working pages such as Settings, Feedback, Help, About, etc.
o I do want you to look at it… so please go to the prototype to view the actual screenshots now - but in the prototype, both 2012 and 2015 versions are merged together. They are not finished, it's in draft mode. Here's the link:
